TeachApt

Terms of Service

These draft terms describe how learners, parents, and tutors use TeachApt. They are a placeholder until the owner publishes the final agreement.

Last updated: 22 October 2026 (draft)

1. Using TeachApt

TeachApt is a marketplace that introduces learners and parents to independent tutors and group classes. Creating an account means you will provide accurate contact details and keep your login private.

2. Bookings and payments

Lesson requests, schedules, and prices are agreed in the product before payment. Where escrow is used, funds are held for the booked sessions and released under the payout rules shown at checkout. The live payment provider configuration is unchanged by this draft.

3. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the classroom, harass other users, upload unlawful material, or try to move payments off the platform to avoid TeachApt's fees. TeachApt may suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Tutors

Tutors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile, qualifications, and rates. Appearing in search requires TeachApt verification. Tutor conduct is also described in the Tutor Guidelines.

5. Liability

TeachApt provides the software that connects the parties. Teaching is delivered by the tutor. This draft does not limit any rights that cannot legally be limited. The owner must replace this section with counsel-approved language.
