TeachApt

Privacy Policy

This draft explains what account and learning information TeachApt stores. The owner must review it against the data the product actually collects.

Last updated: 22 October 2026 (draft)

1. Information we collect

Account details such as name, email, phone number, and state of residence. Learners and parents may also add grade level, subjects, and tutoring preferences. Tutors may add qualifications, rates, and payout details. Lesson, message, and payment records are stored so the service can run.

2. How it is used

We use this information to create accounts, match tutors, schedule lessons, process payments, send service messages, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell personal information.

3. Who can see it

Tutors see the learning details needed to teach a booked student. Parents see information for children they have linked. Payment partners, email delivery, and file storage providers process data only to provide those services. Admin staff can access records to support and moderate the platform.

4. Retention and requests

Account data is kept while the account is open and for as long as needed for payments, disputes, and legal duties. To ask about your data, use the Support page. The owner should add the legal contact address and any Nigeria Data Protection Act wording before this draft is treated as final.
